Jorik x Trulie – Born September 23, 2026!

We are excited to welcome our litter from Trulie and Jorik. Because our grandson loves nothing more in this world than a classic muscle car, we have made this litter a little extra special. Meet our muscle car litter!

This pairing brings together qualities we value deeply in the German Shepherd Dog: sound structure, stable temperament, working ability, trainability, and versatility. Our goal is to produce intelligent, athletic German Shepherds with the confidence and engagement to thrive as active companions, working or sport partners, and devoted family members.

Every breeding is an investment in the future of the breed. We approach this litter with that responsibility in mind.

Meet the Parents

All official paperwork, registration records, and certified health results are proudly made available upon request. To protect our dogs, our network, and our program from online identity theft and digital scamming, we do not post official registration or health certificates directly on our website. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our dogs and our puppy families safe from online fraud.

Jorik

Jorik is a handsome black sable German Shepherd with a strong working-line pedigree, masculine head, substantial presence, and the character we value in our breeding program.

He has earned his IPO I, demonstrating working ability, trainability, confidence, and a willingness to engage with his handler. Jorik brings strong working drive and versatility to this pairing, and we believe his qualities complement Trulie beautifully.

We are extremely grateful to Lone Wolff K-9 for entrusting us with the opportunity to include Jorik in this planned pairing. We are honored by their confidence in our program and appreciate the opportunity to incorporate a dog whose qualities align so closely with our goals for the future of the German Shepherd Dog.

Trulie

Trulie is a large black and red German Shepherd with a beautiful silky coat and a sweet, devoted nature. She is deeply bonded to her family and especially enjoys working alongside her handler, whether training, learning something new, or simply spending time together. Trulie loves children and is especially bonded to our grand baby.

Trulie has excellent food, ball, and prey drive, giving her the motivation and engagement we value in a versatile working companion. She has earned OFA Good hips and Normal elbows and is DM clear.

Trulie was originally planned to pursue her BH in November. With the arrival of this litter, those plans have been moved to spring, allowing her to focus on raising her puppies first.

We are excited to see how Trulie and Jorik complement one another and to watch these puppies develop.

Reservations

We are currently accepting a limited number of reservations for the Trulie × Jorik September 2026 litter.

We take the placement process seriously and want to learn about each prospective home. When you contact us, please tell us about your lifestyle, previous dog experience, household, and what you hope to do with your German Shepherd.

Our goal is not simply to place puppies. It is to make thoughtful matches between individual puppies and families.

If you believe a Lowemond German Shepherd may be a good fit for your family, we would love to hear from you.

What We Hope to Produce

Our breeding program is built around four cornerstones:

Health

We prioritize health and soundness because a German Shepherd should be capable of living an active, comfortable life.

Versatility

We value dogs that can move naturally between roles — working, training, competing, exploring, and simply being part of the family.

Temperament

We seek stable, confident dogs with the ability to engage with their people, recover from new experiences, and navigate the world with balance.

Preservation

We believe responsible breeding means preserving the qualities that make the German Shepherd Dog exceptional while thoughtfully considering what the next generation needs.

From this pairing, we hope to produce puppies with:

• Sound structure and athleticism
• Stable, confident temperaments
• Strong food, ball, and prey motivation
• Trainability and handler engagement
•  Intelligence and adaptability
•  The versatility to participate in work, sport, or active family life
•  The capacity to form strong, devoted relationships with their people

Of course, puppies are individuals. No breeder can guarantee exactly who a puppy will become as an adult. Our responsibility is to give each puppy the strongest possible foundation and to understand each individual well enough to make thoughtful placement decisions.

Raising the Lowemond Litter

The first eight weeks are an important developmental period, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Our puppies will be raised with intentional early experiences designed to help them develop confidence, resilience, curiosity, and appropriate engagement with the world around them.

Their early experiences will include:

• Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
• Early Scent Introduction (ESI)
• Age-appropriate socialization
• Exposure to a variety of surfaces, sounds, environments, and experiences
• Positive interaction with people
• Foundational puppy training
• Individual observation of temperament, motivation, and development

Our goal is not to overwhelm puppies with experiences, but to thoughtfully introduce them to the world while allowing each puppy to develop at an appropriate pace.

Avidog Puppy Evaluation Test

At approximately 7–8 weeks of age, each Lowemond puppy will complete the Avidog Puppy Evaluation Test (APET), a structured evaluation designed to provide insight into each puppy’s individual temperament, motivation, confidence, resilience, learning style, and drives.

The APET is one part of our placement process. We also consider how each puppy has developed throughout their first eight weeks, including their interactions with people, littermates, new experiences, and different environments.

Together, these observations help us thoughtfully match each puppy with the home and lifestyle best suited to them.

The APET is not intended to predict a puppy’s adult personality or determine whether one puppy is “better” than another. Rather, it gives us another valuable tool for understanding each individual puppy and making thoughtful placement decisions.

Every Lowemond Puppy Receives

Each puppy goes home with a comprehensive foundation of care and support, including:

• AKC registration
• AKC Reunite microchip
• Age-appropriate vaccinations
• Deworming
• Veterinary examination
• 25-month health guarantee
• 30-day Trupanion Pet Insurance Go Home Offer
• Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
• Age-appropriate socialization and environmental exposure
• Foundational puppy training
• Avidog Puppy Evaluation Test (APET)
• Individual puppy-to-family matching
• Puppy records and information packet

Puppies are placed with limited AKC registration, with consideration for full registration at 24 months of age based on qualifying health-test results and the conditions outlined in our sales contract.

Our Commitment to the Breed

Health is a priority. Stewardship is our responsibility.

Our responsibility does not end when a puppy leaves our home.

We believe ethical breeding includes contributing to the broader health and future of the German Shepherd Dog. A portion of every Lowemond puppy placement is directed toward German Shepherd health research, helping support efforts to better understand and improve the health of the breed we love.

Our goal is to produce healthy, capable dogs while contributing in a meaningful way to the future of the German Shepherd Dog.
